The first official county supported Fremont County Fair was held in 1902. There were eleven years between 1902 and 2013 in which no County Fair was held, mainly due to war and depression.
2025 will mark the 112th anniversary of the Fremont County Fair
Located in Central Wyoming, with the Wind River Mountains and the Wind River as natural resources and attractions. We are one of the premier county fairs in Wyoming. The Fair attracts 475 youth participants, over 600 open class exhibitors, and showcasing 6,417 exhibits.
Operates on 49 acres with facilities used year round and hosts over 890 events annually.
The Fremont County Fair Annex was purchased in 2024, from Central Wyoming College, by the Fremont County Commissioners. The Fair Annex is located at 875 Gasser Road, this facility will be an amazing asset for the citizens of Fremont County, for youth in 4-H and FFA and for the Equine Enthusiasts.
