| Entry Rules |
- All Jackpot Show Exhibitors must be 8 to 19 years of age as of
January 1,2011.
- Entry Fees: Fees are per animal per show:
- $10.00 for Goats, Hogs, and Lambs
- $20.00 for Beef. (Market and Breeding)
- $5.00 for Showmanship (Limit of one entry per species
per show)
- $5.00 for Premier Exhibitor (one time fee; limit one entry per species)
- There will be a $2.00 disposal fee per animal for cleanup
and disposal of bedding and animal waste.
- NO REFUNDS WILL BE PROVIDED.
- All Entry Forms are due at the Fair Office by
Tuesday, May 31, 2011. No phone entries accepted.
- Late Entry Forms will
be accepted, by mail postmarked after June 1, with a late processing fee
of $20.00 per exhibitor. On site entries will be taken
at weigh in only; all on site
entries will be charged an additional late fee of $10.00 per
head.
- Entry Forms must be signed by the participant and the parent(s) or guardian,
if under 19 years old.
- Entry Forms not properly completed and signed will
not be accepted.
- Showmanship
will be divided into three age groups: as of 01/01/11, Junior8-12, Intermediate 13-15, Senior 16-19
- You
must use your own animal for showmanship classes.
- Animals must be owned by the exhibitor
showing. You cannot show family owned animals.

| Health Rules |
- All animals must conform to current State of Wyoming health and brand requirements.
- All
animals must have a current (within 7 days of arrival) Certificate of Veterinary inspection and will be inspected prior to off loading! Note: There will be NO complimentary inspection and NO complimentary certificates written. Absolutely no off loading of any animals after the close of weigh-ins on Saturday.
- Any animal showing
symptoms of a contagious or infectious disease may be removed from the
premises at the discretion of the Spring Fair Committee or their
designated representative.
- Any lamb exhibiting an active stage of show lamb fungus or
ringworm will not be allowed to unload or will be removed from the grounds.

| Classification Rules |
- Beef Cattle will be measured and weighed: goats, hogs and lambs will
be weighed.
- Goats and Lambs must have been slick shorn within the prior
week, with no patterns. Goats and Lambs must have their baby teeth in place.
- All
animals will be sorted by a committee at the scales during weigh-in to
determine proper classification.
- Spring Fair Management reserves the right to combine
or divide classes as needed.

| Exhibitor Policy and Procedures |
- The Wyoming State Fair Youth Livestock Show Policies and Procedures
will be followed in general and by species. These guidelines include the
National Code of Show Ring Ethics and the Wyoming State Fair Foreign Substance
Prevention
and Residue Avoidance Program.
- Consumption of alcoholic beverages by guests
and exhibitors is prohibited at all times at Fairplex during Spring Fair.
- Entry Fees
will be used for class premiums; 10 % of each entry fee will be used for
species champion and reserve champion (60/40 split) and 80% of each entry will be utilized in a jackpot
format for each class; 10%
withheld for an office processing fee.
- Class premiums will be based on the number of
animals shown in class with predetermined percentages and places, set as
shown:
- 7 or more shown
- 1st =35%
- 2nd = 25%
- 3rd = 20%
- 4th = 15%
- 5th = 05%
- 6 or less shown
- 1st = 40%
- 2nd = 25%
- 3rd = 20%
- 4th = 15%
- Class and Championship Premiums will be paid in cash; premiums
will be paid by cash on Saturday, June 4 and on Sunday,
June 5. Exhibitors must pickup premiums prior to departure on Sunday as no premiums will be mailed. Exhibitors are fully responsible for premiums.

| Exhibitor Notices |
- Exhibitors are responsible for providing their own bedding.
- Wood Shavings
for bedding will be available for purchase from show management at designated
times which will be posted.
- Please clean out your pens or stalls before leaving the show
- Campground space for campers/trailers with electrical,
sewer and water hookups are available for $25.00 per day/night. Please
contact the fair office
with your request.
- Concessions
will be available near the show area for exhibitor convenience. Concessions
provided by Friends of Fair.

- THE FREMONT COUNTY SPRING FAIR MANAGEMENT RESERVES THE FINAL AND
ABSOLUTE RIGHT TO INTERPRET THESE RULES AND REGULATIONS AND THEIR DECISION
WILL BE FINAL
- If you see rule infractions please notify:
- First Choice - The Species Superintendent
or Species Committee Member
- Second Choice – Show Management or
Fair Staff
- Third Choice – Fair Board Member
- Each report of rule violations will
be reviewed by the Show Management and appropriate action will
be taken. If the matter is not resolved to
your satisfaction you may file protest. Instructions for “Protests” are
available at the Fair Office

used if numbers warrant.
- English Breeds – Purebreds only for Angus,
Herefords (Horned and Polled), Galloway and Shorthorn. Purebred verification
required.
- Continental/Crosses – All other breeds and
all crosses in this division.
- The Show Management reserves
the right to refuse entries if animal is of questionable health and/or
quality.

- 2011 Beef Heifer Show Rules
- Three Shows: Three Judges: Two Days!
- Classes determined after weigh-in.
- Exhibitors must check in animal health papers and registration papers.
- The Show Management reserves the right to
refuse entries if animal is of questionable health and/or quality.
- Commercial
Heifer Class (Non-registered Heifers), need breed of sire and dam listed
on entry form in lieu of registry name and
registration number.
- Cow/Calf Class with all breeds shown together, cows
of any age are eligible. Cow and calf must be halter broke to lead.
- Breeding Beef Showmanship divisions will be broken as follows:
- Junior (8-12), Intermediate (13-15), Senior (16-19)
- Showmanship Rules:
- Entry Fee $5 per division; one entry per species per show.
- Animal and exhibitor must compete together in class to be eligible for showmanship.
- All exhibitors must show their own animals. NO EXCEPTIONS!
- Beef, Goats, Lambs and Swine showmanship divisions will be broken as follows:
- Junior (8-12), Intermediate (13-15), Senior (16-19)
